Society of Caribbean Lawyers Award Nominations 2026

The Society of Caribbean Lawyers (SOCAL) is proud to invite nominations for the SOCAL Awards 2026, celebrating outstanding individuals within the British Caribbean legal community.

Given the continued underrepresentation and limited visibility of British Caribbean role models within the legal profession, the SOCAL Awards form an important part of our commitment to recognising and uplifting excellence across our community.

These awards will honour those who have demonstrated excellence in their legal careers, while also making meaningful contributions beyond the profession.

We are delighted to invite nominations for the following categories:

• Student of the Year

• Barrister of the Year

• Solicitor of the Year

• Lifetime Achievement Award

Nomination Guidelines
Submissions should be no more than 250 words and should clearly highlight the nominee’s achievements, impact, and contribution to the community.

This is an opportunity to help ensure that the achievements and contributions of our community are seen, recognised, and celebrated.
